Performance Slow

OS: Windows XP SP2
Database: Oracle 10g R1
Description: I had done a simple test on SQL Developer compare with Quest TOAD and Quest SAL Navigator. And I concluded, there is some improvement requrie on SQL Developer.

1. It is very slow when query from large table about more than 10K records. Compare with TOAD and SQL Navigator, to SQL Developer, the TOAD and SQL Navigator response time more faster and quicker.

2. I create a new database connection through Database Connection, with choose the TNS and provide the correct connect identifier and lastly click on Test button ad everything is OK. But when i close everything and re-open the same database connection again, and I try to click on Test button, SQL Developer promot me "Status: Failure -no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path.

3. When start the SQL Developer, it is slower than TOAD and SQL Navigator.

I am very concern on tools performance, because I plan to introduce this tool to become our company global tools, that's why i need to confirm this tool have advantage over other tools currently using.
