Performance issue SQL Developer CLOB/NCLOB

Hi all,

we're experiencing strange performance issues when browsing a certain table in our database (everything else is fine). As soon as a column containing a CLOB is being displayed, SQL Developer hangs for some seconds and working with SQL Developer becomes really difficult. However, as soon as the column is no longer being displayed, everything is fine again.
Anyone having a similar experience?
