Pending XML files overflooding Grid Control server after restart

Fr3dYMar 14 2011 — edited Mar 14 2011
Hi. I'm having problems with Grid Control and xml files uploaded files by agents: when the server is stopped for some time (maintenance, or any other reason) and restarted, all targets begin to upload pending XML files to the server.
There's about 30Gb of free disk space and it fills completely very fast, disabling server functionality. It seems the server becomes overflooded, can't insert those files into Database and delete them fast enough.
The only solution I found was to delete those files manually, losing some information from those time periods.

What's the best practice to avoid this? It's just a storage problem and should I get a bigger disk, or is it possible to control the pending files upload speed or something like that?

Thanks.
