Hi,

We have many absence requests in Pending for Approval status. The reason most of the times in due to the Supervisor hierarchy issues like loops in hierarchy etc. Historically the data was corrected but the notification was hanging as the employees were asked to raise another request which was approved. All those notifcations are now showing up as Pending and there are plenty of them in the system. We have some Alerts that alert managers if their employees have Pending requests. I agree that this shuld have been handled better by restarting the workflow process after the data is corrected instead of raising new request.

What can we do to delete these Pending for Approval requests. Is there anything we can do through a API? Please suggest any approaches.
