Hi,

i am working on Oracle database 9i (Database is having UTF8 characterset )
and Oracle 9iDS

i am having problem on generating PDF reports in Unicode.

Problem is : i have a data field in Database column with mixed languages like Arabic & English for example Half is in English and half in Arabic , Or Full in Arabic

now the problem is when i select this column in reports
value shown is not same as look like in forms runtime
( data is stored in UTF8 character ser database)

but if i generate in other format like HTMLCSS or RTF
reports comes correct.

one more point i want to highlight when i use any boiler palette text in reports and set fonts correctly , i am able to see the boiler palette text in correct in PDF output

and i wave installed unicode fonts and set the path REPORTS_PATH in registory in C:\winnt\fonts
also i have changed and using fonts SUBSETTING

i have tried setting
1)REPORTS_PATH to font directory
2) Download some unicode fonts (cyberbit) and installed
3)Fonts subsetting
4) with Acrobat version 5 and 6
5) nls_lang=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8
6) acrobal setting Smooth Text,Smooth Line art,Smooth Images all ticked
but still i am not able to find out where i am doing wrong
please help me
