PCI slot in Sun Blade 100/150: 3.3v/5v or 5v only?

807557Feb 8 2007 — edited Feb 9 2007
I was wondering if the PCI slots in the Sun Blade 100/150 are truly 3.3v/5v switching, or 5v only. The documentation says conflicting things:

"PCI Three full-size PCI slots, 33 MHz, 5/3.3 volt"
http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_private/Systems/SunBlade150/spec.html

"The PCI signaling is 5V, 32Bits, 33MHz."
http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_private/Devices/Miscellaneous/MISC_PCI_Riser_Bd_SB100.html

Any idea which is correct?

Any idea what would really happen if a 3.3v card was put into a slot intended for 5v only? Is it 1) blown card or riser board, or 2) nothing as the pin for the different voltage is ignored
This assumes the little key was removed to put the 3.3v card in the slot.
