password policy

Dear All,

Would anyone guide me to set a password policy for Directory Server 6.3?
By means , I need the password to be set or created not less than 8 characters long and force the use of numbers with the password.

Ex
password "scotty" shouldnt be accepted since it is not 8 characters long and should have some digits in.
password "scotty123" is acceptable.
