Password expiry warning

Darren SJan 11 2016 — edited Jan 14 2016

Hi,

I have OIM 11g R2 integrated with OAM 11g R2 in an environment that doesn't have an email server and I need a way of warning users their passwords will expire.  The OIM mechanism involves email.

OAM has it's own password warning mechanism that I haven't got working fully yet, but this it seems to want to use it's own password change pages rather than handing over the job to OIM.  I need OIM to make the password change not OAM because of some customizations we have.

1. When you set obpasswordmustchange flag to true and have an OAM password policy, OAM uses it's own password change pages.  Can someone confirm what the behaviour is when OAM sees a password will expire in x days? (I haven't got his working yet)

2. Has anyone implemented an OIM/OAM password warning solution that didn't involve email or OAM making the eventual password change rather than OIM?

Thanks

Darren
