passing global variables from one class to another

Hi,

I�ve been trying to get my head round passing global variables, from one class to another. Yet still I can't work it out. Could someone show me "very basically" how I would go about it. If it could show the two programs in source code and the how the variable is passed from one class file to other.

Be kind I�m a n00b to java.
