passing comma containing values in gourl

Hi experts

i have data in my column which has comma in it for eg last name comma then first letter of first name... value is getting passed to another report in url but second report is not using parameter value in url to build.... i have set that column is prompted in second report.. i am able to pass parameter with brackets, space and all but not with comma's

could you please help me how to pass comma containing values in url.

if it is not possible then could anyone let me know..... if it is possible then please help
