Parent doesn't equal the sum of its children

KristenWilliamsonMar 17 2011 — edited Mar 21 2011
I'm not sure what to do, so any help is appreciated.

This is in the measures dimension within a single company. We have a parent that has 4 children, but the value of the parent is not the sum of those children. It worked fine last month, but this month I can't get it to consolidate properly.

Only one of the children of this parent is an input member, the other three are calculated members and the parent is identified in dimension library as a calculated member.

I have tried the following:
1. Consolidate all
2. Force calc
3. Force calc contribution
4. Cleared the parent and reconsolidated

nothing has worked, any ideas or does anyone knows what causes this sort of thing to happen?

I've had it happen with entities but that was an ownership issue, this is in the measures dimension.

thanks in advance for your help!
