Parallel import

Hi all,

I want to migrate our 9i database to 11gR2.

Our database is quite "big" and I have and exp dump of 200Gb.

The dump has 5 big tables of approx. size 20G each.

The target server has 8 cpu and Has 1 TB disk. The disk is just ordinary 1drive.

My question is..... Can I run a parallel import of the big 5 tables? So I can maximize the 8 core cpu?

My problem is the single disk which might have a contention in I/O?

Sould I run it one at a time or parallel?

Any ideas please....
