Page Unload DA Event not working in FireFox

Theme 13 Blue Gray

IE9.0.8112

FF26.0

I have a simple alert that should popup a message on a page unload event. It works fine in IE9 but does not work in Firefox 26. Is there a workaround for Firefox?
