OWL Property Chain support through Jena

nickrobisonDec 22 2016 — edited Jan 5 2017

I have an RDF/XML file that I'm attempting to load into a semantic model via the Apache Jena library, so far I've been able to load the test ontology and perform some basic inference via the OWLPRIME rulebase (such as InverseOf). The ontology I'm working with (built in Protege and working with the Pellet and HermiT reasoners) contains a couple of owl:propertychainaxiom rules and it seems like these are not getting adding into the rulebase. I saw on the documentation that it's possible to create a separate user defined rulebase and add the property chains manually, but is it possible to do so either directly from an ontology file, or through the Jena API?
