OVMAPI_8014E VNIC cannot be created as the MAC address is invalid:

Hi ,

I'm unable to assign mac address to VM's . I have created a network successfully however on the virtual nic tab unable to assign MAC address. I read many getting started guide from oracle but couldn't figure out where the issue. when creating virtual nic in VM i get following error

"OVMAPI_8014E VNIC cannot be created as the MAC address is invalid:"

OVM : 3.4.5

OVS : 3.4.5

Hardware : Hitachi CB500 520X blade
