OVM Server driver support for Broadcom 57840S

Hi,

We are currently using Dell PEM620 blades with OVM Server 3.1.1 successfully running with no issues.  These OVM Servers are PowerEdge 620 servers that currently use Broadcom's 10GbE 2P 57810.

We are looking at upgrading our hardware for this environment and are currently testing on a newer generation of Dell PowerEdge 620 hardware.  This newer hardware is using a Broadcom 10GbE 4P 57840S.  Neither the OVM 3.1.1 or 3.2.2 OVM Server installations I've tried can recognise these 10GbE Ports.  I've reviewed the HCL and I can confirm from this that the Dell PowerEdge 620 server is supported for both 3.1.1 and 3.2.2.  During the installation of the OS I do not even see these network interfaces when selecting the MGMT network.  We are looking to use these network ports for connecting to iSCSI storage.

I think I need to install the drivers from here (ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/driver/Broadcom/B57BCMCD_T7.6.4.1/Linux/Driver) via the console to allow these devices to be seen.  Can anyone confirm this or point me in the right direction here?  I appreciate there are some methods of configuration that are not supported within the OVM platform.

Cheers in advance for your time.

Andrew
