Out of the box

641712Mar 6 2009 — edited Feb 7 2020
Hi all,

Can anyone explain to me what does "out of the box" mean, I have seen it many times on the documentation.

Example :

"To help support and manage this wide-ranging and potentially complex offering, Oracle Beehive provides subscription and notification templates *out of the box*, which explicitly define the rules associated with each for defined events. Administrators can also upload new and updated templates, as needed. The system also provides commands for copying and cloning individual subscriptions."

Thanks
