OUI GUI on VNC

Hi ALL,

We are upgrading our 11g database to 12.1.0.2.

We need to run OUI using VNC GUI.

But our Db server is secured at the backend can not be directly connected via ssh.

We need to login in first to the Apps server as the jump server, and then ssh to the db server.

I can run VNC gui on the Apps server, but once is connect to the database server, the GUI does not run any more.

I gets error > Can not open display "".

Even xhost + gets the same error.

Please help how to resolve this issue.
