OUI-10182 - The effective user ID does not match

Hi guys,

I tried searching for this error first but couldn't find anything. The install guide says to runInstaller as oracle user so I moved the database folder in to my oracle folder, logged in and ran the installer. At the install product stage I receive this error:

OUI-10182 - Th e effective user ID does not match the owner of the file, or the process is not the super-user, the system indicates that super-user privilege is required.

I get the same error when logged in as oracle and running the install folder from my own user account
