OUI-10136:An Oracle Home with name already exists

Hi,

I have installed Webcenter from Oracle Fusion Middleware 11GR1 on RHEL 5. Now I want to install the SOA suite components to test the WorkList Service with web center. However I am getting this error when I attempt to install SOA component under the same middleware home. "OUI-10136:An Oracle Home with name OH1241764777 already exists at location /opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common. Please specify another location for Oracle Home."

I have installed WebCenter under /opt/oracle/middleware/Oracle_WC1. When I installed WebCenter the inventory file got updated with two entries for oracle homes. One for WebCenter pointing to /opt/oracle/middleware/Oracle_WC1 and the other for /opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common.

Now when I install Oracle SOA suite under the same middleware home /opt/oracle/middleware it complains that an oracle home already exist for the oracle_common directory.

As per the Oracle Fusion Middleware installation overview WebCenter and SOA suites can be installed under a single middleware home and there should be only one oracle_common directory for all products installed under the middleware home. However the installation does not allow me to move ahead. Can someone please help?
