I plan to work with my OS guy who needs to upgrade the Linux kernel, after Red Hat releases a kernel patch for Dirty Cow. . I'll need to update the ASM drivers to match that move. . If the servers are registered with OTN then all you should have to do it run the oracleasm update-driver command as root after they upgrade the kernel and this will determine the correct rpms to install.
How do I register my servers with OTN ?
