Need your support to validate the below process to create the access for external OTM user (Carrier) on best practice point of view. Also share your feedback if you foresee any security concern.
Following process to be followed to create the access for external users in OTM to access the Carrier portal .
- External User will be added in OTM SaaS Identity domain with their company email ID's in IDCS manually.
- Post creation of the user in SaaS IDCS the same needs to be added in PaaS IDCS
- Same user will be created in OTM with same email address as per required roles (LSP role).
- User association will be created in OTM to access the data for particular Supplier data only
- Logistics team will send the booking to LSP and notification will contain the URL for IDCS native login. (Current OTM production has option for native login also)
- User will click the link and will be able access the portal using User ID and password.
- Once user is added in the IDCS , notification will trigger automatically to reset the password.
