OSB Moving files from FTPserver to SFTP server based on directory structure

802247Oct 31 2010 — edited Oct 31 2010
Hi ,

We have a requirement where we need to move files from ftp server to SFTP server based on directory structure.

For example let us assume there is a root directory "root " under which there are three folders in FTP let us say FolderA, FolderB, Folder C. On SFTP server also we will have the same directory structure.

Files in FTP server FolderA have to be moved to SFTP server FolderA, and similarly from FTP server FolderB to SFTP server FolderB etc..

In my FTP proxy service i gave ftp polling directory as ftp://localhost:21/root
also i used the option scan sub directories for files.

from $inbound variable i am able to identify which file belongs to which folder.

How do i change the SFTP upload directory dynamically.

In transport header options only parameter available for SFTP transport is 'filename'.

Using a proxy service for each folder is not recommended because we will have 20+ different folders on FTP server.
