OSB and "Scheduled event/cron transport"

I'm new to Oracle Service Bus and I'm looking for a "transport" that is essentially a "time based event generator". i.e. I want to schedule a task to run periodically. Is there an "off the shelf" transport that does this or do I need to "roll my own"?

I've seen in other products the concept names a "Cron transport" that does this (as in Unix Cron) but I haven't yet encountered a similar concept in OSB
