OSB 10.3.1: help on xquery replace functions

ferpJul 27 2012 — edited Jul 30 2012
Hi all,

my payload contains a given (special) character that has to be replaced with another given character.

Below my case (I reported the hex dump of the message in order to be more clear):

0000000 2353 3332 853c 3132 3e30 ... 85
# S 3 2 205 < 1 2 > 0 ... 205
0000020 3c31 333e 3231 ...
< 1 3 > 2 1 ...

The character coming before the less character (it identifies a new line, it is 0x3C) is 0x85 and it has to be replaced with 0x0A.
I'm trying with working around the fn:replace xquery function but I have some difficulties.
Do you think is it possible to do that with a xquery function avoiding to do a java service callout ?

Thanks in advance
Greetings
ferp
