OS authentication in 12c Multitenant

Hello Oracle Guru`s,

I know how to make OS authentication work in 12c multitenant, but I am curious why it was made difficult and does not work like we use it in non-cdb. Is OS authentication not a recommended way to use for 12c multitenant arch ? will it be deprecated? if its not the recommended way then what would be best way to place OS authentication which use to run application batch jobs.
