A customer of ours had an old Oracle Internet Application Server License that was used for hs forms applications.
He was told that this now is converted to a WebLogic Server Basic license. (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/doc.1111/e14860/wls_basic.htm#FMWLC277
). He also has an Oracle database License.
Currently they are using the mod plsql bridge for apex applications.
Of course he wants to replace this with ORDS as they can then also do rest services.
Can he deploy the ords.war to a Weblogic Server without additional licensing?
In doc Document 1536052.1 I see that the weblogic needs to be installed on the database machine? Or is this solely if he didn't have a weblogic license?
