order by in BULK COLLECT

Hi,

I have been asked to tune a huge SQL. Basically the SQL is populating a collection using BULK COLLECT to a collection. I have notice the SQL has an ORDER BY clause. Is there any scenario where ORDER BY clause will have significance while populating a collection? I was thinking of removing it.
