Oracle的Varchar2只能保存666个汉字

我是在Weblogic的8.1sp2中，使用的EJB2.0，发现当Oracle的数据类型定义为VARCHAR2时，其最多只能保存666个汉字，猜测其把每个汉字作为3个字节，并且其长度无论定义多少只能是2000，这样也就只能保存666个汉字了（666X3＝1998）；同样的问题在JDBC的SQL中也存在，如果你使用prepareStatement机制，加上Weblogic在实现Entity Bean时就是使用了prepareStatement机制，那我现在在不想改变数据类型的如何实现
