OracleJet and GWT/Errai?

3325751Oct 5 2016 — edited Oct 6 2016

Hi all,

I am very impressed with how OracleJet apps look and the breadth of components released regularly! But far less with the code and the particular stack: jquery, jqueryui, requirejs, knockout. In the fast moving world of JS frameworks, this is not state-of-the-art.

I have not looked into OracleJet details. but my question is:

Is there any way to strip out knockout.requirejs (possibly leave jquery in) and use an alternative data binding, page routing and component model? I am particularly interested in GWT/Errai a an alternative, a Java-based framework by Red Hat.

Thank you.
