OracleDBConsole service does not start

I am running Oracle 10.2.0 on windows xp. For some reason, my OracleDBConsole no longer starts up. I look in the Event Viewer and it just says the process exited during initialization.

I try running nmesrvc.exe on the command prompt and get a StartServiceCtrlDispatcher 1063 error.

I try typing 'net start OracleDBconsoleorcl' and I get a service specific error of 2.

Any clues on what is going on? It has started in the past, but now does work, and I have changed nothing about the oracle installation.
