oracleconnection not defined

I am new both to ASP.NET and ODP.NET . I have downloaded and installed ODP.NET . In my code I have added reference to Oracle.DataAccess.client namespace as well. But
when I browse this page from internet explorer I get

OracleConnection not defined error.

Same code when using oledb provider is working. I have verified that the oracle dataaccess .dll is in the bin directory. Please help me.
