Oracle9i driver memory leak?

425065Jul 9 2004 — edited Jul 9 2004
I am using:
Oracle ODBC v9.2.0.5/6 client
Windows 2000/Oracle9i client

I am experiencing memory leaks in my application, ever since 'upgrading' to the Oracle9i client driver.
When running the same code against SQL Server or using a DataDirect® driver with Oracle, the memory usage is rock solid. This is a server app that must run 24/7. Manual reset by a user is not an option.

This memory leakage will occur and grow over time even doing basic database connect/disconnect: Nothing out of the ordinary.

As indicated above, I installed the latest Oracle9i client, but to no avail.

Does anybody know of any fixes/workarounds? Is Oracle going to fix this?
Any info is appreciated.
DataDirect is Eggspensive.
Thanx,
Fred
