Oracle XE vs. 12c

Hello,

Though I have searched this forum I am still unclear as when\if a 12c version of XE will be released and even a ballpark ETA.  In creating a case with My Oracle Support on this  they said they did not support it and I'd need to ask this question here.

  1. Is there going to be an Oracle 12c XE?

  2. Is there any type of ETA?
