ORACLE XE Roadmap

We want to use an ORACLE XE 11g database with our software product. Before we go for ORACLE XE, we want to make sure, that the XE product line will be available and alive for the near future.

My question:

Does anybody know if ORACLE officially plans to stop releasing the XE product? Are there any offical news on a cessation of the ORACLE XE database?
