Oracle XE installation with multiple databases

user11972929Aug 25 2016 — edited Aug 26 2016

I have the physical box (12 logical cores) and few Oracle Standard Edition (11g/12c) databases (proper Licenses) on it.

I see Oracle XE is free to use for testing. I have the following questions:

1. Can I install Oracle XE on that host , and create two tiny development/testing databases for my testing? Looks like XE edition creates XE database by default, but I need my own database names, say TEST1 and TEST2.

2. Are there are any restrictions like: max number of CPU's per machine ? Max number of databases with XE edition? Max number of Users connected to that databases?
