Oracle XE database files

Hi,

I'm really new to oracle... i'm using oracle XE for development and the database is very large... importing it (using pl/sql developer exports) can take hours in my machine.

We where trying to just copy the database files from one other machine, running oracle XE also and in the same path, to the other, but with no success.

Is this possible in oracle?
