Oracle XE and VMWare

Hi, All!

I installed VMWare 6 workstation under XP. After that I installed Knoppix as a guest operating system, and installed Oracle XE under Knoppix(debian variant).

Local connect from Knoppix works OK. Connect from XP host to
APEX homepage also works fine, I can see an XE start page on port 8080.
But I can't connect to the XE database from the host XP machine via SQL client tools!

tnsping XE
however executes OK.

I believe it's "open ports" configuration issue. How to fix it?

Any thoughts?
