Oracle Week Number American Standard

Dear all,

I'm using this query :

select to_char(to_date('01.01.2010', 'dd.mm.yyyy'), 'IW')
from dual

and get the result 53. This is the ISO format. What I need is that I receive 1 ... as it is in the US. How can I handle it?

I thought everything was OK in my database to work with US format as I Have the following parameters :
