Hello everybody,
i got a problem with the oracle vss writer.
In our company we are using Veeam to backup our Oracle databases.
Everytime the oracle oravssw.exe is called, it uses more memory. Up to the point that the quest is running out of memory.
Our Database Version is 11.2.03
Veeam says this is an oracle bug and there is nothing they can do.
At the moment we are using a script to restart the service after every backup. But we do not want to do this for every system for ever.
So do anyone know a posibility to fix this problem?
