oracle Vs db2 and oracle Vs MS sql server

Hi,
Can any one point out the major differences between oracle Vs DB2 and Oracle Vs MS sql server.

If somebody is to choose the database then which database should he/she choose??

Why people prefer oracle database irrespective of its high price instead of picking DB2 and MS sql server which is relatively cheaper.

Hoping to get these answer quickly.
