Oracle VM Virtual box slow performance

hi,

I am using oracle virtual box version 4.2.8 on on oracle linux 5.8, trying to configure 11g rac on virtual machine.
When i run the setup after moving to next step of installation it hangs and have very poor performance.

Is there any settings on os level to make virtual box perform better, and to install rac on virtual machine.

My server specs are
intel core i5 16 gb ram processor=3
Model= Intel R core(TM) i5-2400 CPU 3.10 GHz.
CPU MHZ =1600
address sizes = 36 bits physical, 48 bits virtual

Memory utilization is 10 %
CPU utilization is 20%
