Oracle VM Server 3.1.1 can not discover physical disks

Anatoli AtanasovJun 3 2012 — edited Jun 3 2012
Dear Oracle VM Experts,

Recently I made a vanilla installation of both Oracle VM Server and Oracle VM Manager at the latest 3.1.1 version. After creating a server pool, adding the server now I am trying to set up the storage. That's why I have tried a couple of times the "Rescan Physical Disks" button, but nothing happens.

I will appreciate any hints or tips and tricks on how to get my disks available in VM Manager console!

Many thanks in advance,
Anatoli

P.S.: My box has 3 SATA disks as follows plus a usb flash drive (used for install media) :

[root@vmserver ~]# fdisk -l
