Hello Guys,
I need your help so much.
Specification :
- OVM Manager 3.3.4
- OVM Server 3.3.4
- LUN EMC 15 TB <-- This used to be repository
- OS OEL 6.5
yesterday suddenly there are a few users said that they can't access repo or vm. and then i checked it, and i found that my repository let called it with REPO1, was in warning state
i don't know whats wrong. and then i search the solution from google, and i found some article and then i followed it.
1. try to refresh the SAN Server.
2. try to refresh physical disk
3. try to refresh shared file system.
i check that 3 step, but when i refreshed the shared file system, the REPO1 showed me errors, such as a missing file system. and then i try to find a way,i try to rename the filesystem to be REPO1 using CLI, but the errors still the same.
and then i found the article in google and i followed the step :
1. delete physicaldiskk REPO1 --> it showed error such as this physical disk still have a filesystem in OVM
2. release ownership from REPO1 --> errors too, must refresh the physicaldisk
3. delete filesystem REPO1
4. refresh the SAN Server
5. refresh the PhysicalDisk
i followed that step, but the repository show nothing, there is no repository.. even i click Show ALL Repository, still empty, i restart the OVM Service, still nothing works.
my question is :
1. am i deleted the whole content file in my LUN?
2. if not, how to show me the repository?
3. how to mount the ex LUN REPO1, to my OVM Server, so i can copy the virtual disk to other Storage?
4. how to solve if there are warning status in my repository and it show that filesystem is missing?
