Oracle VM manager installation error/home/USER/.bashrc Permission Denied

I have installed Oracle VM Server on a machine (A) and it got installed successfully.Now to install oracle VM manager i have installed VM ware software (Version 5) on another machine(B) and on the top of it i have started a new Virtual machine which is Enterprise Linux 5 .(C)

Now on this enterprise linux(c) when i tried to install oracle VM manager as per the steps given in Oracle VM Manger installation Document i get an error at (3.1 Installation Process) step 8 .

I says
"bash: /home/schallag/.bashrc Permission Denied
Database instance not avilable
Please check the enrvironment and rerun runInstaller.sh"
I checked the bashrc file it has write permissions for the user
I am not sure why this message is comming up .

Can some please let me know
