First and foremost happy holidays!
I wanted to reach out to ya'll to see if you have also ran into the same issue installing oracle vm manager 3.2.10 or 3.3.x on OL 6U7. After way to much time troubleshooting, i.e. we started with 6U6, patched the OS w latest to 6U7, install failures, rolled back the patch job, failures, tried both kernels UEK/RHEL, failures, etc...), we threw in the towel and flashed our manager to 6U4, and all is good.
With 6U7 and 6U6 the installer hung at:
Step 7 of 9 : Domain creation ...
Creating Oracle WebLogic Server domain ...
Starting Oracle WebLogic Server 11g ...
WebLogic failed to start in '60' minutes
We tried the following all with the same results, hung at Step 7.
./createOracle.sh
then
./runInstaller.sh -u UUID -n
./runInstaller.sh -n
./runInstaller.sh (could only do this one 6u4 re the silly "Oracle VM Manager can only be installed on a 64 bit Oracle Linux version 5.5 and higher. Current version is 'oracle' version '6.7'" error)
