Oracle VM in a 2 node cluster
698396Apr 27 2009 — edited May 18 2009I am currently evaluating Oracle VM for the possibility of using it in on current infrastructure. I have configured a 2 node oracle vm cluster. We have manage to migrate running VM's between the nodes in the cluster. The problem I am having is when I try to simulate an Oracle VM host failure. I have enabled the server pool for HA and the VM's in the server pool for HA. However when I switch one of the physical hosts off and would expect all VM's on the host which has failed to start on the other node in the cluster. This is not the case. The VM's sit in an "Unknown" status on the VM Manager and do not fail over. I am out of ideas and any help would be greatly appreciated.
