Oracle VM 3.x support with DAS, specifically a Dell PowerVault MD1220?

Greetings,

We have a Oracle/Dell customer that is looking to stand up multiple single oracle vm servers with FAST DAS storage hosting several large high i/o oracle dbs. The short story is that the customer cant load up enough local storage on a Dell PowerEdge R820 (its a power thing) so they would like to use the Dell PowerVault MD1220 DAS storage with Dell PowerEdge R820 servers.

Could you please share your experience with DAS and Oracle VM? If you have used Dell PowerVault MD1220 with Oracle VM could you please share any tips and tricks?

The Dell PowerEdge R820 are certified, and we can determine if the Dell PowerVault MD1220 DAS storage is certified or if it will work with Oracle VM.
