Is there anyway I can perform an install from the ISO without having to have a network installation source from OVM? Essentially, I have an obsolete NFS repository/storage that has old NFS IP setting on another OVM Server that I am not able to delete or refresh due to multiple OVM errors I have not yet been able to resolve (OVMRU_002013,OVMRU_002006,etc)?
Essentially, I am trying to create a new OEL 7.4 VM guest on a new VM Server that replaces an older OEL 5.8 VM guest on a different VM Server. The 5.8 was created by the old NFS repository I able not able to get rid of. I have an active local repository that contains that 5.8 VM & the ISO used to create it. I am in the process of installing the OEL 7.4 from ISO. The installation appears to be forcing me to use a network installation source as the "On the network" radio button. I am guessing because the disks are not yet mounted on the new vm since it is a new installation, it won't let me use the local source.
I had created a local VM repository on the new VM server & that is source where I initiated the 7.4 ISO, created the new 7.4 VM with the CD/DVD in the VM Disks with the 7.4 loaded.
I am not able to create an NFS network repository with the correct IP addresses because of the rogue repository as the VM manager complains that storage is in use by the other VM server even though I unpresented it.
I was hoping to find to install straight from the ISO until I get my NFS repository/storage issues resolved.
Thanks!
