After completing the installation, the OVMM installer reports:
Please note that you need to install tightvnc-java on this computer to access a virtual machine's console.
...but there is no tightvnc-java package in
the standard repositories (i.e.,
public-yum.oracle.com).
Instead,
Section 3.4.4 of the [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E27300_01/E27308/html/index.html]Oracle® VM Installation and Upgrade Guide for Release 3.1.1, "Installing and Configuring a VNC Viewer", refers readers to a non-standard repository: http://oss.oracle.com/oraclevm/manager/RPMS/.
Will OVMM work with the TightVNC server from
the standard repositories: tigervnc-server-applet? Or should I install the TightVNC server from
the non-standard repository: tightvnc-java?

Edited by: epretorious on Sep 20, 2012 1:10 PM Expanded the hyperlink to "the standard repositories" in first and third paragraphs. Converted the text "the non-standard repository" to a hyperlink in the third paragraph. Corrected the reference to Chapter 3.4.4 in the second paragraph (*was* 3.4.5) and included a hyperlink directly to Chapter 3.4.4 (in addition to the hyperlink to The Guide).
